Depart from Shangri-La city
I. Self-driving/Chartered Car
Route:Navigate to "Pudacuo National Park" from Shangri-La city, the whole journey is about 22 kilometers, and the journey is about 30-40 minutes.
Road Condition:Mainly asphalt roads, the road conditions are good, but there are many curves on some mountain roads, so you need to drive carefully.
Chartered Car Fee:About 150-200 yuan for a one-way trip (negotiable), and about 300-400 yuan for a round trip (you can ask the driver to wait).
II. Taxi
It costs about 100-150 yuan for a one-way taxi from the city. It is recommended to agree on a return time with the driver or leave contact information, because it is difficult to take a taxi temporarily at the entrance of the scenic spot.
III. Tourist Special Line Bus
There are special buses from Shangri-La Passenger Transport Station to Pudacuo, the ticket price is about 30 yuan/person (one way), and the departure time is generally 8:00-9:00 am (may be adjusted in peak and off seasons, need to confirm in advance).
The return bus usually returns from the scenic spot at 15:00-16:00 in the afternoon. It is recommended to ask the driver in advance.

Depart from Lijiang/Dali
1. Lijiang → Shangri-La → Pudacuo
First, take a bus or carpool to Shangri-La (Lijiang to Shangri-La is about 4 hours by bus, and the bus fare is 80-100 yuan).
Then, from Shangri-La city, go to Pudacuo in the manner described above.
2. Dali → Shangri-La → Pudacuo
Dali to Shangri-La bus takes about 6-7 hours, the fare is 120-150 yuan, and transfer to Pudacuo after arrival.

Local travel agencies in Shangri-La offer one-day tours to Pudacuo (including tickets, transportation, and tour guide), costing about 200-300 yuan per person, suitable for tourists who do not want to plan their own itinerary.

According to Article 69 of the "Tourism Law": Travel agencies shall fulfill their obligations in accordance with the provisions of the package tour contract, and shall not arbitrarily change the travel itinerary;
Article 70 stipulates that if a travel agency fails to perform the package tour contract or the performance of the contract does not meet the agreement, it shall bear the liability for breach of contract such as continuing to perform, taking remedial measures or compensating for losses in accordance with the law, and tourists may also require the travel agency to pay compensation of one to three times the travel expenses.
