Shudu Lake

Zhudu Lake is the highest geological structure lake in Yunnan, with an elevation of 3595 meters. It is 2.8 kilometers long from east to west and 0.7 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 120 hectares. There is a 2.5 million year old "genus of cracked belly fish" living in the lake. This fish has a golden body without scales and a natural crack on its abdomen, which has extremely high scientific research value.

Zhudu Lake is famous for its "morning mist reflection", where one can leisurely swim in the mist, as if in a fairyland. In spring, azaleas cluster by the lake, beautiful beyond measure; In summer, flowers bloom, grass is abundant, and the lake brings a hint of coolness, keeping people away from the scorching heat; In autumn, the mountains and forests are colorful, and the layers of forests are dyed; In winter, the snow is pure and holy.

Walking along the 3.3-kilometer wooden boardwalk, you can have intimate contact with the primeval forest, listen to the chirping of insects and birds, and feel the joy and comfort of nature. You can also encounter cute squirrels and experience the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. The fresh air here is like a natural oxygen bar, allowing people to clear their minds. The colorful autumn scenery has attracted many photography enthusiasts and film and television crews, and many film and television works such as "Infinite" and "Jade Goddess of Mercy" have been filmed here. In addition, this is also the place where Zhang Jie and Xie Na held their wedding, and the end ceremony of the Yunnan Province torch relay for the 2008 Beijing Olympics was also held here.

Transportation route

Bus:

Shangri La Bus Station has four daily buses to Pudacuo, departing at 8:00, 8:30, 9:30, and 10:00, and returning at 14:00, 14:30, 15:00, and 16:30. The one-way fare is 15 yuan, the round-trip fare is 30 yuan, and the journey takes about half an hour.

Charter car:

Shangri La County can be rented by car, and the round-trip fare is about 180 yuan. The driver will wait at the entrance of the scenic area.

Taxi:

Take a taxi to get there, with a reference price of 80 yuan for one-way and 150 yuan for round trip; At the ancient city entrance, there are often taxis available for individual passengers to carpool, with a price of about 55 yuan per person. But it is important to note that it is best to schedule a pick-up time with the driver and leave the driver's phone number to avoid being unable to call the bus on the return trip.
