Detailed Description
Militang High Mountain Pasture is located between Duhu Lake and Bitahai in Shangri La Pudacuo National Park. "Militang" means "Buddha eye shaped meadow" and is named after its slender Buddha eye. It is a subalpine meadow at an altitude of 3700 meters.
It is said that the plants grown on the pasture are rich in protein and fat, and the cows and sheep are fat and strong after eating. They produce a large amount of milk and have a high proportion of butter and cheese. Therefore, Militang Ranch has always been an important pasture in Shangri La.
Transportation route
Bus:
Shangri La Bus Station has four daily buses to Pudacuo, departing at 8:00, 8:30, 9:30, and 10:00, and returning at 14:00, 14:30, 15:00, and 16:30. The one-way fare is 15 yuan, the round-trip fare is 30 yuan, and the journey takes about half an hour
Charter car:
Shangri La County can be rented by car, and the round-trip fare is about 180 yuan. The driver will wait at the entrance of the scenic area.
Taxi:
Take a taxi to get there, with a reference price of 80 yuan for one-way and 150 yuan for round trip; At the ancient city entrance, there are often taxis available for individual passengers to carpool, with a price of about 55 yuan per person. But it is important to note that it is best to schedule a pick-up time with the driver and leave the driver's phone number to avoid being unable to call the bus on the return trip.
